what do we protect before the world tells us what matters?
when i created Ithiaely, i wasn't trying to make a product.
i was trying to carry something my family could not afford to lose.
several of my children have lived with severe allergies. my oldest son grew up navigating asthma, pneumonia, frequent colds, and allergies that still follow him today.
over time, our family learned to pay attention to breath.
not because breath is extraordinary.
because when someone you love struggles to breathe, every easy breath becomes something you quietly protect.
long before anyone called it wellness, we checked on one another.
we made tea.
we cooked soup.
we sat beside beds.
we opened windows.
we rested together.
we stayed close.
no one taught us that care mattered.
we were already carrying it.
ithiaely is one way I carry that remembrance.
not because scent is the only way we care.
but because scent can awaken what we already know.
that our breath matters.
that our loved ones matter.
that care is never time wasted.
the world will always have another deadline.
another meeting.
another expectation.
but before we return to any of it,
we remember this:
we protected one another's breath.
this is what we chose to carry.
peace be with you.
